The Kyle Harrison Demo was a big success for the Storm players. Kyle did an amzing job and worked over the goals. We will need to buy new nets after he peppered the corners for the kids. Kyle Harrison is one of the most successful Lacrosse players still playing today. Kyle was a 3 time All American at Johns Hopkins University and won the National Championship in 2005 as well as the Tewaaraton Trophy. He was the #1 draft pick in the 2005 MLL draft and played one year with the New Jersey Pride, and then was traded to the LA Riptide and now plays Major League Lacrosse for the Denver Outlaws. Congratulations to both the La Paz Storm 56 Silver team and 78 Silver team for winning the League Championships today. The 5th/6th team beat the undefeated So Cal Syracuse team 5 - 1, and the 7th/8th team beat the undefeated Hewes team 8 - 4. The Boys teams have now added to the Girls Championships from last week to dominate Orange County Lacrosse at all age groups.

Congratulations to all the Boys and Girls teams for a fantastic season. This may be the first time in the history of Orange County Lacrosse that the Boys A teams and Girls teams have won the Championship in the same year.

A big thanks to all the Storm parents & players who took the time to show their support for high school lacrosse at the School Board Meeting on March 10th!  They had such a large turnout for the meeting that many people could not even get into the auditorium.  Everyone was still counted as being there by signing an attendance sheet, so it was all good.  The Storm teams definitely showed their support!!!!

For all new players to Lacrosse and to the Storm program we will be holding a registration day and uniform fitting on Sunday March 8th from noon to 2pm at South Swell Lacrosse. If you need equipment they will have special pricing for all players needing new gear. We will fit the players for uniforms for the Spring season. We will also collect fees for the upcoming season. $100 for a returning player and $145 for a new Storm player. If you would prefer you can register and pay on line through Pay Pal.
